Firstly, thanks for visiting my blog! I hope you enjoy scrolling through and reading news, rumours, reviews, and looking at my images. Please feel free to share this blog.

Now, a bit about me; I am a hobbyist photographer hoping to make it more than just a hobby as well as a self-confessed camera geek. I initially trained as a scientist, having a degree in biochemistry and a PhD. Thus I have quite an analytical mind and am a bit of a perfectionist. My science background probably explains my interest in the technical side of photography (and my nerdiness). This is probably why out of all the art forms photography comes quite naturally to me.  I also have a passion for capturing the natural world, having been brought up on David Attenborough documentaries. But I have a lovely girlfriend who is studying fashion photography so I dabble a bit in portraiture sometimes as well as wedding photography.

I now work as an editor in scientific publishing. So I suppose this blog combines my job and my passion. I hope that you will find the topics I discuss interesting and please feel free to send me a message or leave me a comment if you want my opinion or would like to express yours.
